Passengers and bird dogs

King Air 100

The comfortable way around the North — and the lead aircraft ahead of the airtankers on fire missions.

Ask About This Aircraft

The King Air 100 is the passenger side of the charter fleet: pressurised, weather-capable and sized for the team moves, crew changes and medical positioning flights the North runs on.

On the fire contract the King Airs fly as bird dogs — leading the airtankers, marking the drop line and clearing the run before the retardant goes down. Three new King Air C90s — Garmin G1000 glass with synthetic vision — now fly the bird-dog mission alongside them.
