With a fleet of passenger, combination passenger/freight and cargo aircraft, let us do the work for you. Serving the North since 1970, our main goal is to keep northern communities served and thriving.

The fleet has entered the jet age. From 42,900 lbs behind a pair of Boeing 737s — one of them gravel-capable — to a comfortable passenger flight on a King Air or the 1900D, we can satisfy any cargo or travel need you may have.

The prime movers

Boeing 737

Two jets lead the operation. The 737-300SF freighter lifts up to 42,900 lbs through a 141-inch main-deck door — pallets, outsize freight, even brand-new vehicles from Ford and GM bound for remote communities. The gravel-kitted 737-200 takes jet freight straight onto the unpaved strips most of the North actually has.

Third in line

L-188 Electra

The turboprop heavy-hauler — 33,000 lbs, a main deck that takes eight containers, and the legs to go where the jets don't.

The legendary fleet · still available

DC-3 & C-46

The aircraft that built the North remain on charter. TheDouglas DC-3 works strips as short as 2,500 ft on wheels or skis, and the C-46 Commando hauls 12,000 lbs of bulky freight into unprepared strips — history you can ship on.
