Boeing 737-200

C-GTVO — a straight freighter with a gravel kit, taking jet-speed cargo onto the unpaved strips no other jet will touch.

Ask About This Aircraft

Buffalo’s second jet arrived in Yellowknife in March 2025: a 1982-built 737-200 freighter acquired from Chrono Aviation. It carries a gravel kit — nose-gear gravel deflector and engine vortex dissipators — making it one of the very few jets certified onto gravel runways.

That is the whole point: most of the North’s communities have gravel strips, and the -200 brings them jet freight directly. It wears a livery of its own doing it — black tail, white buffalo.
