Quick strike

Air Tractor AT802F Fireboss

Nine amphibious single-engine airtankers — fast, efficient, and first on scene to protect the forest, communities and mine sites of the Territory.

Ask About This Aircraft

Eight of the Fireboss fleet are owned by the Government of the Northwest Territories and operated and maintained by Buffalo Airways. On floats with scooping capability, they work close to the fire from the nearest water, giving the Territory a quick-strike capability the big tankers complement.

Buffalo now also owns a Fireboss of its own — with a second on the way — extending the quick-strike capability beyond the Territory contract.
